It all began with a pair of
snowshoes.
Sometimes a big idea starts with a small question: why buy something new when someone else already has it – and is happy to share?
01 / How it all began
A hike. A question. An idea.
While out winter hiking, a friend of Marion Oberenzer was thinking about whether to buy snowshoes. Marion simply offered to lend her own.
From that simple moment, a bigger question emerged: how many things do we own that others could put to good use right now?
That's how the idea for LOLA was born: a platform that makes it easier to pass on, share and use the things we already have – and to connect people with one another.
„Things don't make people happy – social connections usually do.“
02 / Our Vision
We create a world where circular consumption is your top choice.
Powered by AI, we make products long-lasting, build and connect communities, and reduce waste.
Together, we are part of a circular society.
03 / What we're working on
Sustainability & AI give us more possibilities. Not fewer.
Use it instead of leaving it unused.
A product reveals its value not only through ownership, but above all through being used.
People make the difference.
Trust, exchange and shared interests turn individual transactions into living communities.
Technology can strengthen cycles.
AI should help make potential visible and make the longer use of products easier to achieve.
04 / The people behind LOLA
An idea that grows together.
Behind LOLA are people who combine technology, research and the conviction that we can achieve more with the resources we already have.
